Hey guys! I have been in the midst of a S&T series on another forum, and while I will not go back and post the stuff from earlier, I will start showing off my stuff here too moving forward. This is the fourth part of my five-part, year-long S&T series. Each part has had its own theme to break up the posts and make them more cohesive.
The theme of this S&T post is two players I have gotten to know over the years through a hockey camp I have been involved with. Both Derek and Jaccob have come to the camp multiple times as on-ice instructors, and getting to know them has really been a pleasure. Both are phenomenal guys off the ice. While Derek's career is nearing its end, Jaccob is quickly becoming one of the NHL's best young defensemen.
Starting with the stuff of Derek:
These two put me at...I don't even know how many copies of this card...in all seriousness probably around 65.
This was an IP auto I purchased off eBay from a collector in Europe.
The latest stop in his career was this season in the ECHL with Reading. He had an injury-riddled season unfortunately, so he was not able to do much. Very proud of him for being the team captain and being a great influence on the team and organization. He stepped in as a coach while injured and did a great job doing what he could to help.
Love finding the European cards...finding printing plates is even better!
On to Jaccob!
These four complete my UD base rainbow!
Still need the Gold /25 and Platinum Blue /5. Really like the ePack Green parallel...really good-looking in person.
This is another card I grab whenever I can. While I'm not sure on an exact number of copies, I know I have at least 10 of them.
And finally, a couple of printing plates!
That's all for this post! I'll wrap up the series with my Hjalmarsson additions and then get to a VERY long-awaited mailday...it actually came in the mail yesterday, but I'll wait to post it until after the series is over.
