Bravos & Spankee fans, I don't wanna hear it, you can ride the pine on this one.......

The rest of you, how do you think the Mets will fare in the NLCS? Their pitching did fine in the NLDS and their bats played small ball more than really unleashing their true explosiveness (i.e. the long ball, 10 runs a game, etc).

Will the Mets offense really come alive in the NLCS and can the Mets staff continue to get them by? I think with their super deep bullpen they can as long as Willie keeps up his excellent situational managing.

I don't know the Mets enough to really say one way or another but over coming two starting pitchers hurt then Cliff Floyd goes out of the game during last night game....this team keeps finding ways to win--The Mets are on a mission and starting to look like the Mets I remember of 1986.

Let me put in a quick plug for the NL baseball contest coming once the Padres v. Cardinals series is over. Will be the same contest as was run for the A's v. Twins.

Tom, I am the same way. When a team beats my team in the playoffs, that's my team to cheer for.

And since the Dodgers are my second favorite team, it lessens the blow, especially since it was role reversal in 88'!

I am just glad the Mets are in and the Spankees are toast.
