I just think Ottawa needs a depth 2-way gritty forward. Someone that can excel in the playoffs and play on the teams bottom 2 lines.
Someone like a Gelinas, Mayers, Simon, Drake, etc.

I agree. Gelinas would be a nice fit. However, Jacques seems to want to rape his old team. His asking price of Vermette or Eaves for Roberts was a bit much. You think he's bitter?

IDLE SPECULATION:
The Pens moved Dominic Moore out to make a run at Bertuzzi. I'm sure with Crosby feeding Bert the puck, he'd have a renewed interest in winning and playing hard.
That's just my thought when I heard they moved Moore out of town. Bert is going to go cheap, and the Pens are the active team today.

Adam - don't you think they may have moved Moore out to make room for Roberts and Laraque? If they do go for Bert, I'd say its a bad move.
The sens are probably okay where they are at - Comrie was probably their only move. Carter would have been interesting in there though.
I almost cheered earlier when they speculated on TSN that there may be interest in Nik Antropov from a team outside of Toronto... hopefully, someone plucks that broken fruit from the leaf tree...
