Guys, I have been contemplating picking up some cases of older products and it appears Atlanta Sports Cards has the best pricing on what I'm interested in. I've been discussing with them that I have no interest in using ScrewYouPS because the ridiculous brokerage fees they charge. I request USPS be the shipper for all items from the States because for whatever reason, they don't seem to have to charge that fee.

While I was hunting around for information, I found this online calculator for shipping from the US to Canada:

The Final Cost

It seems to be pretty accurate, and it shows the same thing I've found -- the couriers blast you with those brokerage fees, but the USPS doesn't have them (or they are very small). Anyone know why this is, and any thoughts on shipping multiple cases from the US to Canada?

FedEx is fairly reasonable - it's a small fee of about $7-15, and I don't begrudge a reasonable charge. UPS can go hump a shorting transformer till their teeth spark.
