You may have heard us mention our first-ever Doug Laurie Sports Singles Night scheduled for Friday, May 8th, from 7-9 p.m. EDT on our YouTube channel. Here are all the details!
We are adding cards to the "Video Showcase" in the Shop Now section of our website until we get to 50 or so. Right now, those cards are priced at full pop in US dollars. You can go in, peruse the selection and ask questions if you have any.
Starting at 7 p.m., we will host a chatroom and video showcase. After opening remarks, we will start showing individual cards. Each card will be discounted, priced in CDN dollars and have a starting minimum bid. First person who says he or she wants it has opening bid, and then we'll allow a bit for overbidders. This process will go quickly, and we don't expect it to take more than a minute or two per card.
We'll run through all the cards, maybe show off a few boxes and autographs and then after we're finished we'll total everything up and let you know your total with or without shipping.
Starting NOW, you will be able to go to our website and register in advance so that we know who you are in the chat room. That will make it easier for us to keep your cards together and know who everyone is.

Doug Laurie Sports will be doing our first ever LIVE BREAK by opening a case of 2020 President's Choice Solitaire right after we finish with our singles show and sale. This product features 10 boxes in a case and three cards per box, all of which are true 1/1s. These cards run the gamut from hockey and the other three major sports all the way to boxing, soccer, horse racing and much, much more, so even if you don't think you'll be buying, you'll definitely want to see what comes out!
These cards will be available for sale on our website as soon as we have them priced (hopefully by Saturday afternoon), but you will be able to make an offer immediately in real time!
