It has been a long time since I have gotten around to posting my mail. After taking (and passing :dance: ) the bar exam, I have been searching for a job, which has been more than a full-time job in itself. I finally decided to take a break and show off some highlights from the last few months, so here goes, in no particular order!
First up a beautiful card won on ebay from HI member Fritz. I know it has been a few months, but here it is:
Next a nice rare card win from NHL.com auctions, of all places
The last card I needed from 03-04 BAP Ultimate Memorabilia Fourth edition
The next card was one I didn’t even know existed, so I didn’t have it on my Kolzig list. It turns out that the 95-96 Leaf base card of Jim Carey featured a nice shot of Olie! Not high-end, but an interesting addition.
A rare late 90’s Pacific parallel, 99 Aurora Championship Fever Copper, numbered 13/20
A rare parallel from this year’s Black Diamond. For some reason only 1 of the 10 Kolzig gold parallels have shown up from each of the past two seasons of BD. Fortunately I have both, but you would think more would pop up with the amount of BD that gets broken. Here is the 07-08 which I recently received.
An interesting card from HI member gamebreakers, an 07-08 SPA base card with no foil. This happened with last year’s SPA as well.
A white hot patch from 08 Hot Prospects…
…and shortly after I received that card, the first copy I have seen of last year’s white hot patch popped up

Finally starting to knock some cards off my list from one of my favorite sets, 01-02 SPGU
Some 08 Superlative. Although I am not a big fan of cards that don’t picture the player, I do love the swatches on these! Now if I could only find the Kolzig Stick Rack

And finally
Well, I am now up to date (other than 1/1’s) on all of the 07-08 releases. That status will definitely change with the release of OPC Premier, so for those of you opening it, please keep me in mind when you pull a Kolzig card
