I know this probably isn't the longest, but the end result made me happy. In late November I had a few Ebay auctions end and the winner was in Russia, I'm always wary about sending there, but I've dealt with the guy before. On Nov 28th I sent the cards with tracking, and "poof" they disapeared after leaving Canada. After 45 days I had to refund $200, nothing major, but anyone hates losing that much money. Then today March 11th he emails me telling me that the cards were in today's mail! Over 100 days later, and he will repay the paypal, so I guess you can never give up.

Anyone have similar tale?

My best,

Ken

7 months for a card from Shippagan, NB to make it to VA. I was refunded for the package, but when it arrived i resent the seller the money. I'm not sure if the card was sent on the back of a turtle or what happened. but in the end i was glad the card arrived.

Had a card that I sold in 2005, never showed up, refunded the buyer. In 2008 the card arrived and he paid for it.

Love those buyers that still pay.

Ken,
I sent some back in December that just now arrived. The buyer did not ask me a SINGLE time "Where the *(^$%& is my package, I paid you yesterday! I am reporting this to the local CIA!!!"
I have noticed this length is common for Russia. I always send registered and never declare on the package itself. Most buyers I have encountered actually request registered and actually pay for it too...! Says something about the faith you have in your country's post....Can you PM me the buyer id for my records? I have dealt with several people in Russia and unscathed so far...

I've had one missing for 8 months from Calgary. They sent it in August, then I recieved it in March of the following year. That's def the longest, and I have about 10-15 other packages on the 2 month mark lol.

Ken,
Is the buyer's name Nikolai? I had the exact same thing happen with a package headed for Russia. I refunded him the money after almost 3 months and a month later, he sent it back when the package arrived.

No, His name Viacheslav. I actually sent to packages to Russia that day and both were lost. I'm hoping they were lost together in the same place and the other one shows up as well.

I had a card show up after 9 months. The seller refunded my money but I sent him an email and told him I would pay. He was super surprised that I contacted him

A package I sent in a trade to Australia took 9 months. Arrived with a letter from Canada Post telling them that it had gotten lost in one of their facilities.
