Hi all. I'm looking for some feedback on how to store my 2015-16 OPC Platinum collection.

I know I want to store them in top-loaders in binders. If anyone has any suggestions on what kind of binders and pages to use, please speak up. There are so many different types out there that I don't know which ones are best or which would hold them the way I'd want them to be.

As for organizing, here's where I'm split. The first way is obviously the classic way, each set together (ie, cards 1-9 in page 1, 10-18 in page 2, etc, for each parallel). This would be very cool in that each parallel would be seen together and make for some really neat looking pages.

The second way, which I think would look really neat, is to put all parallels of each individual card in a single sleeve. So, the base and the 7 parallels that I'm collecting in a single page. I think this would add some really neat pizazz to the display, and make each page look a bit trippy.

The only negative I can think of from the second option is that the 9th spot on each page is going to be empty, and somewhat rather wasteful, unless I can think of something to put in there.

I'd love to get some thoughts on this from everyone. I'll try to get some scans of the second idea later and post it, so we can see what a completed page would look like.

Thanks for taking the time to read and in advance of your suggestions!

I'd like to bump this up and get some more opinions, as I've found a few other options.

There is this 16-card sleeve binder, which would let me put 2 players per page and no empty spots, but is a bit pricey and only holds 640 total cards, which would mean I'd need about 4 for this project.

There is also this 4-page sleeve binder, which I could fit 1 player per page, basically. While cheaper, it only holds 200 cards per binder, putting me at 12-13 total binders for the project, making it the more expensive option of the two.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these, or have another suggestion?

Those look nice.

I prefer the first option. You can hold more cards that way and it would look better IMO.

I do this with my ND alum football stuff, I like having the parallel progression immediately visible but I am faced with empty spots on occasion. I also don't put one player per page just due to how few cards some have. That 16 card top loader binder seems like a winner because I'm looking at revamping my PC the same way you are.

I would leave the center one empty to balance the pages. A few options for the middle spot.

Autograph or GU'd from the same set or your favorite of the player.
Team Logo of the team he plays on.
Players stats or accomplishment's

I picked up a 9 sleeve binder like the two examples you posted. It holds 432 cards and was $30. It holds the standard toploader and the thicker style for like Cup style cards. Its taller than a standard binder but slimmer. The sleeves are situated so that the top loaders won't fall out as you turn the page. Overall, I like it so far. It came in yesterday so I haven't filled it yet.
