I figured I would post this here for the sake of the seller. It was sent via Canada Post Registered Mail and the last update is from June 15th showing it in Trois_Rivieres, QC, the origin province. Even though the seller contacted CP to start an investigation last week, no new updates have been made. I know the mail is behind but over 3 weeks without it being scanned again is a bad sign. I was just refunded by Ebay/Paypal but I'm hoping the card shows up either back with the seller or if it was stolen/lost that he finds it.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too concerned. 3 weeks is nothing at this point. I had a package from Quebec go nearly 6 weeks without being scanned, and it showed up..

Agreed. I also wouldn't be too concerned right now.

I just recently had a card take 30 days to move from St-constant, QC right across the river to Montreal, QC.

That's nothing. I've been waiting on a package from Canada for probably about 6-8 weeks now and another one for OVER FOUR MONTHS. That second one I'm just writing off at this point, but it hasn't even been a month yet. Be patient.

As others have mentioned. I wouldn't be too worried yet. I've had a recent package take almost 3 weeks to make it 3 hours driving distance.

My 2 cents...,Don’t be concerned.... I’ve had recently tracked packages disappear off the radar for over 2 weeks then re-appear.... On tracking... everything is backed up right now... hopefully you get it!!!!! cheers Paul

I'd give it some more time. Mail is everywhere right now, plus cards coming out of the Quebec sorting facility can have notable delays at times, even without a pandemic.

I hope you receive the card. I think it will get to you eventually.

Thanks to everyone who posted above, I really thought it was MIA for good.

Update:
The card actually arrived today(a month later). The tracking number doesn't even register on their website anymore, it just says: "Duplicate pin," with no other info, including the previous updates that at least showed it was still in Quebec. RM requires a signature, but I never had to sign for it, was just left in my mailbox. I already received my refund and there's no proof at all that it was delivered, makes me shake my head. Feels like a dangerous time to be a seller if this is happening to others. I've already contacted the seller to notify him that I now have the card and am on hold with Ebay CS to find out how I can resend payment. The seller wants me to message him my paypal address for an invoice, but I'm 99% sure paypal will either block the message or possibly even suspend/ban our accounts since it will look like we are trying to make a deal directly.

Update:
Seller refuses to call or even text me with his paypal address so I can pay him. He has my number from filing the CP claim, but I don't have his so I can't send him my info from my end. He has almost 10,000 feedback on Ebay yet he claims he doesn't have a cell phone or the ability to send texts?? From a business prospective is that even possible in this day and age? As much as I want to keep the card, this transaction has gone off the rails so I'm sending it back to him. I did talk to Ebay CS, but since the case was closed, they said they cannot help and will not pass along paypal info to either party.

Glad it arrived! I'm sure you guys can figure out the payment. If you have his name, you could try to find him in card groups on Facebook and just go that route.
