LSM Mega Patch Craziness

For patch that sweet from a jersey that's at least 35 years old, I can see the bidding war. Yes, a bit crazy, but I can totally see it.

The winning bidder is the infamous plindbergh31, who was banned on here for shill bidding and other shady practices. He's known for throwing foolish amounts of money at cards then taking forever to pay. He especially likes Pelle Lindbergh and Flyers-related vintage stuff.

That would explain it.

Awesome card and patch, oh yes!
But that price hmm...interesting to see the ending price becuase some of those LSM Mega Patches has been sold with surprisingly low prices.

But Hextall, Lindbergh and Parent ineed have some real hard-core fans with very deep pockets from what I has seen

If this is my auction and somebody wants to pay $600 for what should maybe be a $100-$200 card I'm ok with waiting a few extra days. lol

Ryan - A couple extra days is one thing. A couple of weeks and even odds on not paying at all?

Understood. My point being, I'm willing to take the chance. If you're not in a hurry to sell the card and desperate for the cash what's the worst that could happen? It's a great card. File the NBP alert and sell it again. Not many cards sell for $600 these days.

The fact that it's up at 600+ cannot be one person's doing. Even the offending member doesn't pay in time, I'm sure the second highest bidder would be willing to meet a price close to what it ends for, if not simply taking the second chance price.

How does one know before the auction ends that the winner doesn't pay? If somebody has a Time Machine please sign me up for a ride.
