Yeah for a moment I thought they were going to score another goal in the last 10 seconds, they came really close. They played for Luc tonight.

Burrows is an awesome hard working all round player. Two years ago, I named myself Burrows under a trade wall on facebook, and nobody knew who the heck he was =)

that game was painful to watch. so sutter changes 1/3 of the lineup and ends up with a great team on paper. too bad they can't execute and in my very humble opinion every coach on that team needs to be fired and they have to rebuild their coaching staff from the ground up. it's disgusting the lack of positional play on defence this team exhibits for the amount of talented individuals they have on the back end.
ps - the tribute was well done for sure. shame he had to go so young for sure. RIP sir.

The canucks organization did a great job with the Luc tribute. Now for the canucks WOW. They played the perfect game. They owned the flames in every aspect of the game. They out hit them out shot them , the canucks might be a better team than most expected. :beer:

Thats awesome - thanks for sharing that - I missed it last night.
Well done by the Canucks and a great act by the couple that won the last jersey worn by Luc to give that back to the family.

I thought I wasn't going to choke but it was pretty deep when that lady gave LB's mom his last game worn jersey (which was taken from the last game of 07/08)
Classy thing to do for sure.. though she probably got big "compensation" for it like autographed jerseys from other guys like Luongo etc.
Good for Burrows for playing his heart out... that building would probably been as loud as what Dec 17th will be like if he got that hat trick.
