Luxury Suite Is Live

As I see more and more listings from Luxury Suite starting to hit Ebay, my thought is this:

This is a total bloodbath, do not rip it. I see autos of Yip, Spaling, Pirri, Dalpe, Irwin, N. Johnson, Boychuk, D. Graham, K. Hodge. Are you serious? From a $175 a box product? If you can get $80 a box back from this rubbish, I think you would be a lucky one. Out of 15 boxes in a case, I think you would come out ahead on 2 of those boxes and that's the ones with the SSP Auto Patch RC.

I'd rather lose money opening Ultimate Collection. At least there I have a fighting chance at something decent in a case.
 
I'm not trying to start anything but lol @ people who complain about not getting value back in boxes. Realistically, is there ANY product that provides guaranteed value anymore?

Guaranteed, no... But, perhaps a fighting chance. This one is a ****ing train wreck!

It sounds similar to what people were saying when 10/11 SPA came out. I still bought it and I loved it. Only difference is, Luxury Suite is a higher end product with less cards for more money. I'm on the fence now as I was planning on just buying a box. I never had any luck with Panini so far so maybe I should sit back and hope that a person I know busts a case and I pick the cards I want and buy it off of him. We will see.

I feel sorry for you Mikey...I'm so glad I hit "Cancel" when I was about to order a case last week. I'd get more value out of 3 more cases of '11 Bowman for the same price.

OPC Hockey
Series 1 and 2 Hockey
Score Hockey
Topps Base Football
Topps Chrome Football
Between the Pipes Hockey
H&P Hockey.
 
So far the only cards I like are the jersey/stick cards, but for that price point I will just be picking up the ones I want on the secondary market.
 
This stuff is a singles buyers dream come true. In 03/04 it was a very unique and innovative product IMO. From what I have seen so far, this is not providing anything really unique and the singles are going to be dirt cheap. Dominion may be the one product with some uniqueness to it, I was on the fence on whether to buy a 5 boxer of Luxury Suite but after seeing the singles and breaks so far, not touching a box and will just pick up the 3 or 4 singles my son wants and save for Dominion.

No one asked for guaranteed value. However, this is by far the worst value I've seen in a long time. I just can't see how you can recover. I have a case ordered but will try and see if I can cancel most of it...
