Made A Choice This Expo...

Made the trek down to Toronto for the Expo on Saturday - likely to be the last one I make it too for a while, so I made it count.

I decided that I was going to do the Bobby Orr signing early on - so I printed out a picture of the famous "flying goal" and bought my ticket and fast pass. Photo turned out great, now just need to frame it

Then I received the email with the lowered Cal Ripken JR pricing and said screw it, I'm doing this one too. Bought an official MLB ball and got it signed as well as a picture with Cal.

So right there, that would have made the day worth it.

I decided this year that I would stop PCing Senators players and go back to what I collected as a kid - Patrick Roy. Mainly because he can't disappoint me the way the Sens have lately haha.

So while I picked up 6 total cards for my Roy PC, and actually pulled 2 others from boxes I bought for the drive home (Classics auto + H&P Jersey Gold) this is the big piece.

I saw this in the Presidents Choice showcase, and had to have it. I love that you can tell what year it's from easy - Roy's 2nd last season, and of course, it's a 1/1

All in all, great show. :dance:

That Patrick Roy 1/1 is real nice! Those jersey tags always make for some great patches.

And the Orr photo sounds like a real treat. Congrats on that!
