Okay so I very seldom do these anymore but this was a nice mailday and I also had a few nice pickups at the local show. Here they are.

In a purchase from JoelCarry I picked up these 2 Honorable Numbers

Nicholls #/9

Fuhr #/31

Then in a trade at the local card show

Gagner.jpg

And another trade at the show with Mike, I'd been eying this one for quite some time

And now for the 3 stars

Also worked into the trade with the Gagner Ice Scripts came this lil puppy

Roy.jpg

Roy Ultimate Autographed Jersey

And this one also came in the mail with my package from JoelCarry!!!

Messier.jpg

Messier Ultimate Autographed Jersey

And last but not least, and I'm sure it will have a few people scratching their heads

Lindros.jpg

97/98 Expired Redemption for a Lindros Autographed Stick #/15.

I saw this card and just had to have it. I remember back when these just came out and thought I would have to give up my first born to ever pick one of these up. They were impossible to pull seeing as there were only 15 and when you consider the really tough pulls were numbered out of 500 and higher these were practically unheard of. I actually paid for this card some good hard earned cash!!! While it is numbered out of 15 this card is probably closer to #/3 since anyone who pulled one before the expiry date redeemed it and the card was not returned.

Thanks to everyone for the look see and as always everything is available.

Thanks
Steve

Steve, Some great pickups for sure. Nice to see my boy Messier make an appearance.:) I gotta ask..... Why is the Nicholls #/9?

That Lindros brings back some memories. How many of the big guns back in the day cracked box after box of that stuff looking for one of those?

That Lindros is hilarious Steve. I think I pulled one of the puck redemptions a couple months ago and we were laughing about how I just pulled a ridiculously expensive card 10 years ago :D

I don't know where the redemption card is now, but if you want it should I ever find it to go alongside the stick redemption, I'll send it your way.

Mike, I think Nicholls wore #9 everywhere he played with the exception of his early LA career (I seem to recall his rookie cards where he wore something higher but not as high as 25) unless he wears 25 on the HHOF tour or wherever those jersey pieces are from.
