Hi all. I have been back for some time from my last tour down under. I checked and see i have not posted a mail call since December 2013 (man i have been slacking) hardly scanned anything in the last few months so i took some time to do so.A big thank you to all of those who helped me along the way to make this post possible.

From the thread title "solid foundation"
I saw this pulled in a group break i was in and wanted it
Had one of these and the chance to add another popped up so i acquired it.
This was a redemption that JRsuperstar pulled from one of his Cup breaks and i asked when it came in for a chance at it.
You all know the goalie for the Habs
I had one of these and found two more so know it is a trio
Wouldn't mind finding the other two
Well shall we do a top 5 then
At number 5
This card i traded big time to another Hedman collector to acquire.Then i sold it to someone to help them with their set on the proviso they sell it back to me when/if they give up on the set.Glad to have this card come home.Would love to find any more of these that have been pulled.

This golfer has a bright future.Pulled this from one of SP Aunthentic golf boxes.
At number 3
This card came up on ebay with a questionable picture glare/poor angle/suspect damage. I was pleased when it arrived since the condition was not as bad as i thought.So here is the 09/99 Schwartz :dance:
For number 2
Most people know me for collecting gold rainbow rookies.I have collected them ever since the first release of The Cup.What started me collecting them you ask.Well when The Cup first came out in 05/06 one of the tins i opened had foam on top.Inside was a Peter Prucha gold rainbow rookie /20 AND a Ryan Getzlaf gold rainbow rookie /51.The 05/06 design is the best design of gold rainbow rookies in my opinion.I still have both the Prucha was a boring one color blue and here is what the Getzlaf looks like.
Each year i considered doing the complete set but the first year after seeing what a Phanuef /3 went for i passed on trying that years complete set.Then 06/07 07/08 had some goalie /1 Frank Doyle and Thomas Poperle (may have missed spelled their names) that i was not able to acquire so there went the chance for that years sets.08/09 i had a good shot at doing the complete set but was not able to land a Bagosian /4 so another chance was lost.There always seemed to be some low numbered defense man or goalie stopping me from completing a set. I was able to complete the 12/13 set and some day i will get around to scanning and showing it.
I have the 9/9 Schwartz gold rainbow rookie but this one has a nicer patch.Best of all i was able to acquire it via trade with Ravman and FastMax as they had split a case of The Cup and pulled it.
At the number 1 position
Have you ever looked at a break of cards in the show and tell section here and seen a card you wanted badly. I mean mouth watering drool on your chin trade a relative for had to have card but someone beat you to it and purchased it before you got a chance.I lost out on the chance for this card by mere hours as someone else beat me to it.Of course i survived (barely).
Alright then what card could make me drool and be bummed when the opportunity to acquire it was missed.
Well this is one of the greatest players of all time.
Hard signed and numbered to only 10 copies
States game used memorabilia from official NHl game on the back of the card
Three colors as well (not many 3 color cards of his from this team)
Not LA or All star jersey piece
I present my nicest Gretzky card i have ever acquired
