a good while back the miss's pulled a mark messier black 1/1 out of a box of 08-09 ud masterpieces here it is.from the top

because my scanner is a piece of c#$p you cant realy see the damage when it's flat but when you hold it up you can realy see where it is damaged.

so when i called them (5 or more times) to see what could be done they asked me for a list of players and then told me that the card would be replaced with something close to the same value.

so today when i go to the mail i get a mailer from sea otter place and i knew exactly what it was for, but when i opened it i almost threw up my lunch. here is what the sent to as a replacement,

is not not a slap in the face or what?

should i call them back and let them know that im not happy with it, and if so is there someone i should ask to speak to about it?

was that sent in exchange for the messier, because they couldn't replace it? or was it just sent to you as a "we're sorry" kinda thing.
either way I think its absolutely despicable that you got shafted like that.

if that is what they sent you as a replacement, that is absolutely the most God-awful replacement I have ever seen. I would most definitely call back and as politely and firmly as possible demand a new replacement.

Then if that doesn't work, quote the scene from "Pulp Fiction" where Jules asks his soon to be victim "What does Marcellus Wallace look like?" But instead insert your name.

the lady that called me and told me to keep the card,and because of it's rare'ity that they would not be able to replace it, she then asked me for a list of players and told me that they would send something with what they taught was close to the same value as the messier.

Usually when I get screwed that bad I get flowers and a movie out of it . I would turn up the angry with any further phone calls to their customer service reps. Good luck and hope you get this set right. -Mike :beer:
