Hi all just got back today from a long tour down under and had many packages waiting for me.
I would like to give a big shout out to Patrick ( xmitsui ) for his help in acquiring many of these cards.
Each year i pick a few players to collect Cup cards of this year it is Hopkins , Couturier , Connolly , Hodgson and Landeskog.
First off a couple of more Connolly for the collection. The gold rainbow completes his Cup rainbow i will show some other time.
Next up a couple of redemption's from this years Ultimate
Then a couple of Cup arp's need at least one Hedman in a mail post
Now a couple of Couturier signature patches.
We need a few gold rainbow rookies in a mail post
Next a couple of Hodgson cards.
Now some sweet Landeskog madness
Well i think it is time for a top 5
#5 ever since i saw these live i wanted one Hall draft board
#4 when i saw this redemption on ebay i knew i wanted to own it
#3 very pleased with the 4 color patch on this redemption
#2 waited a year for this redemption. I was disappointed when UD posted some pictures of these compared to some of the limited logos from that year
but still a sweet Gretzky. I made a trade last year with Todd for the redemption and it finally came in.
#1 Well what could top some of the other top 5 you are thinking.
i was in a group break hosted by C&C with many different boxes including 3 tins of the Cup.When there is a case hit they save it until the last.
I was working in Australia with a couple of work mates watching the break when this beauty was pulled. They could not understand why i was yelling YEAH BABY when this card appeared.
