Mike,
It was a lamplighters insert set from 1997-98 Pacific Crown Royale. Pretty rare at around 1:145 packs or something like that. I have the LaFontaine I was "lucky" ( :rolleyes: ) enough to pull myself.

Interesting set. I think there were only 10 or 20 in the set as well.

Wes, They look pretty cool. Unlike most HI members I like Pacific products, and I also like non-memoribilia inserts. Cool stuff. Mike

I like some Pacific products myself. The Ice Blues from the 97 Crown set still stand as among my most favorite cards ever produced (and they're a Pacific parallel to boot :eek: )

I'm sure most people don't mind Pacific products when it comes to McD patches, though ;) :D

Yep, I'm trying to find all 10 of the Omega GJs. It was inspired when I traded my Doug Weight SP Icons D/C to HI member chud for, among other cards, a Beezer Omega GJ

I'm sure I've got a pile of those around here SOMEWHERE Wes. GOK where, but somewhere.

(starts digging, casting aside other less interesting artifacts such as discarded empty bottles, O.J.s missing knife, and the skeleton of a long dead teamster union boss...)

No rush, Steve. When you find them, we'll figure something out for them. It's just a fun project, as I have two out of 3 of my sets pending completion (as seen in my wantlist)

I can't believe how much the value has dropped on these cool cards. They remind me of the 99-00 McD Pacific GJ's /500 with the design, not so much the cost ;) :D
