The mailman delivered 4 packages today of which one was the final piece to complete a set. I will get to that last.
First off a little vintage. I usually don't buy off of ebay older non-graded cards but I couldn't pass up on this Dryden Topps RC. I figured for $34, I'd take a chance on the authenticity. I will be sending this in for grading just for peace of mind to find out if its real or fake.
Next up, another card from ebay. I was doing my usual ebay searching and came across this Graded 9.5 BGS YG RC of Phaneuf. I had a little paypal surplus and figured I try to win the card for less than $75. I ended up winning the auction for $67. I figured it be a very nice trade bait piece for our fellow Flames/Phaneuf fans
Next a very nice ITG piece that I just ended up bidding on at the last minute. I ended up winning this ITG Double Auto/Double Memorabillia of Luongo/Price #50 for $36.
Now on to the biggie. As some of you know, I am trying to complete the UD1 & UD2 GUJ set. The final card of Daniel Alfredsson arrived today via HI member Dave Lebrevre (sorry if SP error). Thank you for trading this last card to me from your personal collection.
I would not have been able to complete this 132 card set with the HUGE help from our very own METH68. Vinny traded over 43 GUJ including the SP's. I was at a point where I was going to give up but with Vinny's huge kick in the rear and help I was able to complete this set. Thank you Vinny for the BIG time help!!!
