First off, I want to thank the traders who made these the newest additions to the PC. Second, I'm more than a little flustered by the fact that (a) cards are taking SOOOOOOO long to get from point A to B at present, even in the states, and (b) at least one of several higher end cards I'm due has apparently fallen victim to the postal black hole. In a deal with one of (if not THE) premiere traders here or anywhere else, it's looking more and more like the Bourque 05 UD Ult auto/patch /10 has vanished into thin air. Losing any card ****s, but losing the ones like this that we want to be center pieces of our collection is borderline depressing. On the positive side of the ledger, I can honestly say this will be the FIRST time I've ever had a card go MIA on me, after hundreds of deals... I guess the odds eventually catch up to everyone, as I have absolutely no questions about the card being sent as promised.
Anyway, on to the cards that HAVE shown up at this point...
OK, the Thornton Inked Sweater may be on the plain side, but I'm still very partial to hard-signed autos and this one came off the 'bay for well less than 1/2 book, dlvd. The inimitable Mark Caskey coughed up the dual Thornton/Lemieux /50 Premier... even nicer in person. Regrettably, another deal I had pending for the patch version of this same card inexplicably fell through after it appeared I'd landed the matching set... oh well. The Thornton/Shanny dual with Thornton 2c also came off the 'bay, while the triple Thornton/Sakic/Spezza comes courtesy of vegasvillan (Derrick).
Next up, the Bourque 2c BAP Memorabilia AS jersey came in a deal with HOCKEYTHEMECARD (Alan), someone who I can recommend wholeheartedly to other members, in what was his first deal. Love the 50/50 split in 2c! The Thornton Autofacts came courtesy of Meth68 (Vinny), another straight shooter. The Bourque eVolve auto was another eBay grab. I don't typically go in for Bourque in Avs' uni, but at 25% BV including shipping ($20), I couldn't stop myself! Lastly, the Thornton checklist High Glossy came via Mathomet/holygoalie in an exchange of kharma that really shows what members can and will do for each other in the spirit of collecting. Long story short, I wasn't aware Mike was collecting SPA RCs until I saw a post of his, in response to which I sent him a few cards I had that weren't doing me any good. He wanted to send me something, as usual, but I told him not to bother. When he went to the Expo and had the good fortune of pulling this one from a pack he got for sitting on the roundtable, he thought I'd like it, and he was right! Thanks, Mike!
Last for best, at least until the PO gets its act together! The 3c Thornton patch came in a deal with Muffinz (Will). Easy deal and I liked the card. Cheify3 had a version of the same card on the 'bay featuring the NHL shield logo that I tried to nail down, but I lost out to a sniper and it went over full BV. That being the case, I was very happy to land the OTHER Titanium patch seen here, with the Koho tag (much nicer in person!), at a total price including shipping of just under 1/2 BV. Last, but certainly not least, we have the Bourque 1st Rounders Patch, coming courtesy of kdema (Keith) in a seamless deal. He's known I wanted this one for the PC for quite a while and came through recently.

Couple of nice Titanium patches as well, and the Bourque 1st Rounder is always nice to have
