It’s a mole, it’s a dust bunny — no, it’s a Superman comic book.

A Minnesota man discovered what is being called “the most valuable comic book of all time” inside the walls of a home he is remodeling. David Gonzalez says what he found is worth some $100,000. That’s more than 10 times what he says he paid for the house.

“I knew it was worth money,” Gonzalez told the Star Tribune. “But I had no idea how much.”

Maybe that’s why he ripped the cover by accident. Gonzalez says he grabbed the comic book from his wife’s aunt amidst the excitement of the great discovery, that he tore the cover.

“That was a $75,000 tear,” Stephen Fishler, co-owner of ComicConnect, told the Tribune.

Man that is horrible but what would you do if you found that?

id keep it lol...how often do you get to own something so rare for basically nothing that and i am a superman fan.

I would have no problem selling it. That is the true definition of "found money"

If I needed the money I would have no problem selling it other wise I would likely hold on to it. However it would likely be sold and invested for my 12 year olds future education.

I was more getting at the fact that he ended up getting so excited and ripped the cover... But yes that is an amazing find none the less
