Howdy folks! Back from a few days up on the Bruce Penninsula, which was a day longer than it should have been, but when they close all the highways, it's a good idea to stay put.
Made a trip to Sallows Family Hobby Centre in Owen Sound and picked up all of the following:
Some inkage miscellany:
Yeah, I picked up two Erik Cole SOTTs, but the price was fair, and the kid was hot... hopefully he comes back this year. All those will help booster the ol' trade box though...
Next, true hodge-podgery:
The Pitkanen is the Uncommon Refractor, the Bergeron is an undervalued rc (oh, and this one is a buyback to boot... I may put the buyback chit with a different Bergeron though... lol) and yeah, the three color jersey is Chuck Kobasew, but how often do you see three color jersey swatches from that set?
Some quality slabbage:
The Locke/ Chipchura is 14/20, and yeah, not high profile guys, but a beauty 3-color swatch. The Zetty is about as good as it can get for the small Ultimate patches, with two colors and stitching.
Onto the breakage - I broke down and tried a box of SPGU... I even got lucky and hit a hot box, though it was more warm than hot. But still, it was a fun break (all 4 minutes of it! lol)
Memorabilia (all /100, and all white! lol)
My rc's and auto (I should have only bought one Cole SOTT...):
And finally, a pickup for myself - 05/06 Owen Sound Attack Team Set. Not a big deal, but it's got Bobby Ryan in it, and may be limited to 500 or so copies. Not 100% certain on that, but that's what I heard...
