The wife and I decided to go in to medofrd today, and since we (I) spent all day hitting golf balls yesterday, I caved. I had a good day...Lisa got new sheets, and some perfume...or something..LOL
Any way, as we drive into Medford, my wife yells out hey there a card shop so i turn around and park. We go in, and i'm not expecting much..I never do, most card shop I go into don't carry hockey. Anywho..this guy has an open box of 05-06 Upper Deck series 2..but got um priced at $3.50.../pack. Lisa talks me into buying them...so the guy cuts me a deal...18 packs...40.00, sounded decent..so I bought um...I had Lisa open them..
count um 6 YG's...
and.......
then she says.."Is that crosby guy any good?", i say yea why..hes not in that set...and she says..Yea he is...and this came out..
Not bad I say...good box, the 6 YG's and the 2 GU and a Crosby Victory RC..
So then we go to a Wal-Mart Super Center..she has stuff to get, I go over and look at the cards they have...not much, so I pass...but as we're checking out, I change my mind..they have one of the game jersey pack thingys..you get one GU and a Premium pack..for 14.99 it was maked 9.99 like the single Football ones...so I throm it on the conveyor belt...get out to the truck, open it and this popped out..
and the "preimum Pack" is a 06-07 mini jersey thing, never seen them, but hey what the heck...it's a pack...
not sure which it is, or who it is...but it's a penguins...
I didn't open it...I figured someone could tell me the possiblities of who it could be..if ya can, please do..
Then, we get home, and the mail girl was here...and she was good to me...
theyre all for my sets...a bunch of other inserts were there as well, but I didn't scan them...
Plus...and a big plus...I got two new Boise State Hats...very sweet day indeed...
