Yes...Espo, though he'd played 13 games with the Habs the season before was allowed to go to Chicago no strings attached (since the Habs saw their future in the 22 year old Dryden as opposed to the 26 year old Esposito) where he won the Calder trophy (and the Vezina too I believe) after posting 15 shutouts.
