MASSIVE Trade - Crosby Auto Shield for...

I pulled this monster out of one of my cases of Dominion and listed on "you know where"....

I got quite a few offers but none really worth listening to until early this week when a local collector called and offered me a deal I really couldn't turn down. I got cash plus these equalling a little more than I was thinking I would ultimately get...

05/06 UD Ultimate Wayne Gretzky "Endorsed Emblems" Patch Auto /35 - the cool thing about this card is that it says on the back that the patch is from his 1999 All Star Game Jersey and it pictures Gretzky wearing that jersey on the front.

05/06 UD Ultimate "Ultimate Rookies" Sidney Crosby Auto Patch /25
I trade a Crosby Auto and I get one back...and a Rookie Auto to boot. Can't go wrong there.

05/06 UD SP Game Used Michael Jordan/LeBron James Dual Auto /25
LeBron has come back to earth with his greedy jump to South Beach, but His Airness is still royalty and any certified Michael Jordan auto is worth its weight in gold.

I'm happy with this deal...BV aside, the Gretzky RARELY shows up for sale so I'm hoping that goes well over book. The other two will sell well...

I think you did amazingly well there. Honestly, I know people are loving shields, but that 05/06 Sid Patch Auto is a better card in my opinion. Throw in a beauty Wayne, a Jordan/Lebron on card, and cash? Awesome deal for you, congrats!

Yes you did make out very well. That Gretzky is just sick! I like the designs on the Gretzky and Crosby rookie auto patch a lot more than the shield.

Great trade Ryan, you did very well. I'm with Tony, I'd take the patch card over the shield everytime . That is one of the nicest Gretzky's I've seen.
