Yes, the Canucks put him on waivers. He wasn't happy with his (lack of) ice time apparently.

I can see why he's upset but the Canucks have a pretty good defense so I don't blame them. If he clears waivers I'm sure the Wings will sign him. He's got to be better than Doug Janik!!
Heck - He is also better than Brett Lebda!!!!
