Place to discuss this series.

I think that the mavericks let Game 1 slide away from them even though they were in New Orleans, Chris Paul was a beast, but so was Dirk and the Mavs, they just let it slip in the 4th quarter, they had that game owned til the end.

Mavs in 6

I think the Mavs will go down fairly easy in this series. NO is a strong and determined team. I think Cuban will make some major shake-ups to the Mavs in the off season.

I think everyone's underestimated the Hornets all year long. They are for real! I've seen them manhandle the Spurs a few games this year. I think the Hornets will take it, and Cuban will spend the rest of the summer wondering about the Kidd trade.

The trade definitely hurt their depth. I was so upset when the first trade got turned down. I couldn't believe they retooled it to bring him in. Gotta love Cuban :p

I'm really starting to fear the Hornets though. If SA can get past Phoenix, and the Hornets hold on, then Chris Paul will be pretty tough to keep in check for my boys.

They kept Nash in CHECK last year I am sure they will handle Paul.

I guess New Orleans CAN win in Dallas. Dallas is on the ropes tonight. Gonna be tough not to get booted in New Orleans for a second straight first round exit.

MAVERICKS BLOW!! Can't wait to hear what Chris has to say when he gets back from his game, the Kidd trade was the worse thing they have done this season, and Jason Kidd doesn't even score like he did in NJ, it would of been so easy for him to shoot more this game cause everyone expects him to pass first then shoot, I mean I'm not a coach and I realize this. But whatever, now with that being said go New Orleans and Go Orlando my two teams to meet in the NBA Finals!

C'mon...we all know the Mavs threw the series because they were afraid to play San Antonio in the 2nd round ;)

Actually, the Hornets have been severely underrated all season long. I can see the Hornets/Spurs going 7 games. SA has to find a way to keep Paul in check.
