This came up on my search of "McFarlane Goalie Lot"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/152690076481?ul_noapp=true

I didn't know King's Landing was in the toy making game.

Maybe someones little sister is extracting revenge for all those headless barbies.

What can anyone actually do with all these parts?

Customizers use parts from different figures to make ones of players never made by Mcfarlane. If they want to make a goalie that is known for a specific pose that they were known for on ice, they would have to take bits, and pieces off other figures to make that player look realistic. This also includes specific types of equipment used by that player. If a goalie used Brians pads for example, they would have to find one already made that used the same pads. This would go for sticks, gloves etc. They may have to use parts from 3-4 different goalies to make a particular player. This would result in the parts leftover you see in the auction. It is really a magnificent talent to be able to build these custom players with the face sculpting, proper equipment, proper paint, and application, logos, and numbering, and custom packaging, and base lettering to match player being made. It is a rather lengthy process, and is priced accordingly.

Thanks for the info on this. I just thought most people who customized figures just did repaints.
