I got in on the first of the two $99 grab bags and was able to land two spots.

I received the first of the two grab bags today and got a green Flames practice jersey. Now altho I would love to win big I am happy to get this.... however what I am not happy about is the fact that Meigray gives no type of paper work or tagging to distinguish this as being authentic and used by a player. Realistically why not just buy practice jerseys at the expo for $40-60???

Also they charged $40 shipping (actual cost $25.75) plus there was an additional fee of $18.13 for duty.

Ive got the fingers crossed for my next box.... getting another practice jersey will be a huge kick in the junk

Luck of the draw of the gab bags. I sold a Calgary practice jersey for 70 bucks on this site. Cant tag a practice jersey because it is not clear who wore it. Only the practice jerseys with the number on the tag or back of it can tell who wore what. Go to auctions.nhl.com, some of the practice jerseys worn by a specific player are up for auction.

Exactly!! I'm betting if you won the Modano jersey you wouldn't be upset in only cost $140 :) I do agree that the $40 shipping is a bit much, but it is a listed price. I've actually found their shipping to be a bit "over the map" as I have never paid the same price twice...lol. Sometimes I get hit with the taxes...sometimes I don't. In the end, it all works itself out.

In my opinion, there should be something to distinguish it from a store bought practice jersey... but as mentioned, no number means someone on the team wore it and Meigray doesn't know who. Still , in my humble opinion, should come with something stating that the team in question used it for the purposes of practice.

Got a preseason Roman Polak myself, no wear to speak of. Kind of makes it a cheap authentic. By the way, anyone know where I can look up preseason stats? Game by game type of thing?

None of the practice jerseys are identified by nameplate/number, but in most cases MG should/will have tagged the jersey with an identification number - these can be used to track back to player who wore the jersey.

Now it's not that i'm too concerned by the specific player that has worn the jersey but only some tagging stating that the team had in fact been using that specific during practices.

In the end I have added a cool piece to my collection which is what I have set out to do with the initial purchase.

Well box two in the mail today and it was a Oilers practice jersey. Ah well... eventually I will add an actual game used jersey to the collection.
