MEIGRAY Summer Sale has begun

After numerous conversations with JZ about the Summer Sale, I went on the site to see what they had left in terms of Canucks goalie stuff.

Decided this morning to grab the Dany Sabourin Jersey from the 2007 Playoffs (The one he worn to start OT in Game 5 against the Ducks while Luongo was takin a poop).

For $200, its got some decent puck marks, its a playoff gamer, and its got a cool story.

So I finally got the invoice yesterday and they sent it for the wrong amount, they forgot to charge me for the expedited shipping. I sent an email back asking them to fix it, we'll see what happens.

I received my "Service Notice" from UPS today indicating that the parcel is ready to be delivered. The notice indicates that I owe $60.53 as a COD charge payable to Meigray. Anyone know what this is for?

Taxes plus UPS brokerage charges....I know it sucks, but if they send UPS you can't avoid it.

But why would it be payable to Meigray? Do they pre-pay the taxes and brokerage?

I'd email Barry or Stu ay Meiogray and see what that is all about. I have been charged before (UPS blows), but I paid the delivery company...not Meigray (I think...lol).

They probably paid UPS up front. Thats my guess.

If I knew that, I would have bought that jersey. You got a bargain for that price.

Mine's due today, I hope I don't get dinged to badly on extra costs. I had it sent to my work in hope that it will go to my customs broker rather than the generic UPS one, as mine isn't as expensive.
