Given the way that organization works - doesn't surprise me at all. Question is, why let him travel with the team cross-country and then fire him after the fact? Then again, it's Minaya's fault as much as anyone. It's just like Sather - looks like a genius when working within constraints, but give him an open purse, and he comes up with nothing...
