i've been collecting him for awhile. do you think he can become a star? he was playing good, averaging 15-16 ppg in feb. and march. ever since baron davis came and started hogging the ball, his stats have gone down. if he switches to a better team, i think he has a chance to become a good player.

what do you think?

In a way I agree, but you dont look at stats all the time to figure out if a player is good or not! For example my cousin and I loved watching the McGrady and Carter days in Toronto as it was fun watching those two play together and obviously Mcgrady didnt do as much as Carter because he was the star but did what he was supposed to in the time he was given. Thats how we knew that once he was traded he was going to be awesome.

But on a level you are right as if you give some players more time as some need it to perform then they will become a great help and a very good player and I am with you on Mike Dunleavy being a good player if not great! :)

Dunleavy needs a ton of work to be considered great. Sorry for being the Devil's Advocate, but I'll even go so far as saying the probability of him ever being a star is pretty low. I'd pick Luke Walton over him.

Dunleavy got hype last night after he got thrown out and got the crowd going after taking off his jersey and throwing it into the crowd....

I don't think he will become a star. There's nothin really special about him.

i think he's a very special player because there's not many players as versatile as him in the league. he can basically do anything.

thanks for your opinions

I can think of AT LEAST 20 players who are more versatile than Dunleavy.

I can think of 50 and even probably 15 to 20 in college lol, he will be nothing more than a roleplayer his entire career, just as should be the destiny for anyone to ever wear a Duke Uniform :)
