Milestone: 10,000 Mike Vernon cards - pics included

Hey fellow HI,

First a shout-out to the members on here who have helped me reach this mark, so far everyone has been great to deal with!

It's been 24 years of collecting Mike Vernon and most of this collection has been build one card at a time.
I threw in some of the game-used equipment I have to spice the pic up a bit

A while back (before eBay existed) in an attempt to keep my collecting from hitting a dead-end, I expanded my collection to three cards of each issue (I liked the look in a 9-card plastic page).
As most player collectors would agree, it's the chase that creates the excitement in the hobby anyways.
So, most of this milestone are duplicate copies (my count is at 620 different Vernon cards, excluding food product items).

Most copies:
#1 - 1991-92 Upper Deck english #163 with 235 copies

and not far behind with number 2
#2 - 1990-91 Upper Deck english #254 with 226 copies

But those are the only two I have 200+ copies.

Please keep the comments coming, it's nice to get some different ideas for putting together show/tell posts.

BTW I totally hear you about collecting multiple copies of the same card. I have done this with several soccer cards of my favorite players.

I actually started collecting Vernon when he was the go-to guy for the Flames in 1988-89 Playoffs. I liked the Flames and I've always liked goalies so it made sense to put two and two together
It's been Vernie ever since.
