Well being home for a long weekend has me fired up to post the highlights of a few of my more recent box breaks. First off they are in no particular order with the exception of the last which is my 2 box foray into SPA. Second I apologize for the quality of the scans. I picked up a new scanner today and am still learning its parameters and I was too lazy to rescan. I hope you enjoy the show.
The Condon rookie is a Contours out of /499 and the Draft Day is Petan 28/35
As strictly a calgary rookie collector I usually stay away from sets that don't fit that niche or have at least one chase card to add to my PC but I was intrigued by Metal and think I got fairly luck with these two hits at least Dubois is ETA The Show 2/7 and thanks to a another thread in hobby talk I learned Nolan Patrick is a very high projected pick for next year and is even more limited The Naturals 1/2 and yes that IS a very poorly cropped Mcdavid at the bottom his SPGU true rookie. That makes two big Mcdavid hits for me this year with the Black Diamond quad /99 helping buy me a 40th birthday trip to the DR earlier this year.
Third scan is just a bunch of nice looking stuff I had on my desk. Interestingly to me the Howard show me some glove does not have a regular version. Makes it all the more unique to me.
My break of SPA. I really like the looks of this years set even if they threw in last years Galchenyuk as one of my auto hits. The true norths are sharp and I was happy to see one of the variations.
All the cards will be for sale or trade for flames rookies and parallels once the postal strike threat is lifted.
