Missing Mail

This is basically where I live. Not that it is the same person, but we were running into problems where mail was only being delivered on three days of the week. Our neighbour started tracking the days she would see the truck eating lunch across the street, and became convinced the postal worker was not doing their job. She called it in to Canada Post, and by the next week that worker was no longer on our route.

The following two weeks consisted of piles of mail each day!! Must've been some stockpiling going on.....

Wow, may be some missing cards in that pile. Lady should of spoke up and said I can't handle this. I undestand she was worried about losing her job, but think about all the headaches she caused in the process.

wouldnt you think canada post would replace a person going on leave? why does this woman even need to ask for more help? CP knows how mnay houses are on the route, its as much their fault IMO. They should be fined as well.

I agree. She was wayyy oveworked. That is unfair, arn't there labor laws against crap like that?

I love this persons response to the article "Our legal/justice system has no minimum sentence for stupidity".

12 months probation and a $1000 fine, I don't get it. Customers were waiting on important mail, including passports. This is what really gets me "She never asked for help, and she never spoke with her supervisors about the disproportionate workload." I'm sorry, but how many people out there work for someone who would come to you and say "Hey I think you are overworked, let me have someone come and take half your workload". While I can sympathize with her to a point, welcome to the world as we know it today. Who isn't overworked these days?

+++++ 1 Couldn't of said it better, she's gotta speak up. Both parties are at fault to a certain extent, but theres no exscuse to delay all that mail.
