Finally got the last piece to the puzzle yesterday. I had been looking for the Foundations quad patch auto for quite some time. Being /5 I wasn't even sure if I'd ever get one. Well, it showed up on the 'bay recently and the rest is history. Here are all the Marian Gaborik game-used and autos from 06-07 The Cup (not including 1/1's):

Good stuff. I was able to do the same with Iginla from the cup (minus the 1/1's of course). Still have a ways to go on the 05/06 stuff though..


Couple questions though..

Did you manage to get an Honorable numbers card /10? That was a tough one for Iginla being a low print as well /12

Then there is the scripted swatches card as well (thought I had seen one previously in one of your posts)?

Just wondering if you didn't post links to those. Would love to see em with these guys..


Heh, thought I was going crazy for a second there.. Swear I didn't see the Honorable numbers and the jersey auto foundations but saw you edited your post..

Still don't see that Scripted Swatch yet though ;-) Also consider yourself lucky you didn't have to track down a dual scripted swatch /5.. That was a pain (and expensive).

Nice stuff! You have some amazing patches on some of the limted cards there..

The Scripted Swatches is listed on the checklist, but I have never seen one.... ever....you'd think one would surface if it was made.

Karvin at Upper Deck told me the Scripted Swatches for Gaborik are on the checklist, but NONE have surfaced yet....we've been watching. No hoarding on that card.

Well...I find it hard to believe that all of them are sitting in one sealed case somewhere, so I'm calling this one complete until I actually see one. Maybe we'll start seeing them being handed out by UD as redemption replacements.
