Mission Complete: 2003-04 UD Series 1 Patch Set

Hi gang,

Over the weekend I was finally able to put one half of my 2003-04 UD series 1 and 2 patch set to bed. Those of you who know me from the other site know I've been working on these sets since the cards were released. The ratio for these cards is 1:7500 so that'll give you an idea how tough they are to pull.

Although it hasn't arrived yet and even though it has a little chipping around the edges, I couldn't be happier with this final piece of the puzzle. Here's the scan taken from the auction since the card hasn't arrived yet.

And here's the rest of the set (note that Gaborik was listed by UD for series 1 but none of the cards were produced for series 1):

That just leaves three cards for the series 2 patch set - Paul Kariya, Marian Gaborik, and Vincent Lecavalier. Thanks for looking everyone!

I always loved that patch set, but the Naslund's always went too high for my liking. Congrats! All the best with the last 3.

Yes, once completed these will be framed although the layouts will have to be a bit different since there are only 27 cards total in series 1 and 30 in series 2. I've got a few ideas in mind though.

I'm guessing it probably didn't even go out into packs or something like that, since there's a blank for it where the price goes last time I checked in a beckett, and I actually received it as a replacement for a redemption they didn't make maybe about a year ago.
