Soooo... i collect 10/11 Panini Certified cards of Ryan Miller. very close to completing the set of Millers, just a handful of super low serial #'d cards to go.
it's set as one of my ebay searches, and a card came across the search a few months ago that i had never seen, only heard about in whispers from the dark corners of the hobby:devil:
one of the subsets was Shirt Off My back which had 2 players and memorabilia cards - base, prime, and a few had dual autographs. one of these was a dual memorabilia prime autograph with Sidney Crosby... and we all know that Sid will sign with anyone on a multiple autograph card as long as the player's first name is Mario and last name is Lemieux:|
so the card was never produced, i would assume that it was a redemption to begin with.
the card on ebay was the prime, "no autograph" version #/5 that i figure came as a redemption replacement. somehow i figured out that the seller was our very own Peter, aka Pacman69. i touched base with him on here to confirm that the item was his... i hit him with an offer that i was comfortable with but was somewhat significantly lower than his asking price. a few months went by with some chit chat via PMs on here and him relisting the card a few times. we finally came to an agreeable trade and i got the card last week sometime.
so enough of this boring chatter from me, here is the card
and i had previously acquired what i assume was another portion of the redemption, yet another card i had heard whispers about but never seen. had this in my collection for a while now.
and if anyone is interested in helping me out with the rest of my 10/11 Certified wants, here is the list... if any Miller collector has one or more of these cards buried in their PC, i have quite a few multiples of cards in this set that are low #'d and with pretty memorabilia pieces. just inquire via PM.
