Verified Trader
Despite being in Jamaica for a week, and being very sick for two weeks after that (not related), I managed to pick up a bunch of cards lately. Many of them came in a huge trade with Cole (wildfan1833). I'll start off with some Ice Scripts I picked up for my set project.
These first three were freebies from Ben (bigben913). Thanks a bunch, man! I'll be returning fire soon.
Two of these were from Cole, and the others I picked up cheap off eBay. Next up, a few for my trade list (which was pretty non-existent before).
These also came in trade with Cole. The Gabby was a surprise freebie, but I already had one. Still much appreciated. PM me if you need any of them.
On to the new PC....Cal Clutterbuck.
I decided to start collecting Cal, because he's really making the most of his call-up this year. For a guy that's not super huge, he's a great hitter. Hopefully he'll break the "hits" record this season. Guys don't like being smashed into the boards too much, so he ends up drawing a lot of retaliation penalties. The second number patch is gold /10. You'll have to take my word for it, my scanner dislikes foil that isn't the rainbow type. About half of these came in the trade with Cole, and the others were from eBay. I think I've got a pretty good start now.
Next in line are some more nice Wild cards that came in trade with Cole...
All I had for Koivu stuff before the trade was a Cup RC, and an Ice Scripts. I really like the Ultimate patch, as well as the SPA RC psa 10. Mikko is becoming the player/leader that I had hoped he would be when we drafted him. Even though Roloson plays for the enemy now I dig the Honorable Numbers, too. It's still one of my favorite sets ever. Glad to add these to my collection.
Last, but certainly not least, a handful of Gabbys for the PC...
The Ultra came in trade with Nick (Nick2317), and the patch was from the 'bay. Thanks again, Nick!
The Superlative jersey auto is the gold variation /10. I picked it up from Murray (gabbygrabby), and he threw in the HG 10/10 for free. I really appreciate it, Murray! Again, the patch was from eBay. It's only the second one I've seen surface. Curt has the other.
These two golds came from HI members, as well. The jersey auto in trade with Curt (GabbyGuy), and the auto purchased off eBay from Darren (dahabsfan). Thanks again, guys, for helping me add these toughies to my collection.:beer:
