Hey gang!
Overall, a pretty good mix of quality/quantity this time around...however, there is one itch that I need to scratch, so I'll get that outta the way first
...
About a month ago, I sent a damaged Erik Johnson Cup RC back to UD for replacement. Learning from my experience with 05/06 The Cup (whereas UD had run out of replacement stock within like 2 months), I knew that this time, I had better send the card in asap, rather than waiting until I had a handful to send back. Expecting the average 10-12 week turnaround, I was very surprised to have received a package from UD just a few weeks later!
So, I rip 'er open, only to find...you guessed it...my damaged card, along with a letter explaining that yet again, they had depleted their replacement stock (as was the case with 05/06 The Cup)!?!? :|:|
And to add a bit of salt to the wound...at the bottom of page 2 was something of an invoice that listed the item(s) that were returned to me in this package...(1) Erik Johnson The Cup RC xxx/249, (2) packs of 07/08 Ice, and (2) packs of 07/08 SPx. So, I figured that was cool, I guess...at least I got some sort of compensation. Only problem is...there were NO packs in the bubble mailer!! :crazy: So, I fired off an email to UD explaining the situation. and about a week later, I receive another package from UD...this one containing (2) packs of 07/08 Ice, (1) pack of 07/08 Hot Prospects, and (1) pack 07/08 SPx. And the result of those breaks...
Now, I'm not complaining about the pack break results, as I know that UD didn't have to send me anything at all, but the issue still remains...this was only September!! How the heck are they completely wiped out of replacement stock already?? :foottap: I realize that they don't produce replacement stock for all 249 copies of any given Cup RC, but sheesh...I believe that it was at least mid-October before they ran out of 05/06 The Cup RC replacement stock, and that year, there were only 199 copies of each! :crazy:

And lastly...a 3-box break of UD Black, thanks to C.J. (cjkuehn)! Before breaking some for myself, I was on the fence about this stuff with all the "manufactured" material and what-not. And since breaking a few boxes, well, I'm still on the fence, lol! 
I would say that my breaks were average...and although I didn't have any major quality control or collation issues that some have had, I'm not sure I'll be breaking much more unless the price comes down a bit (and these were pre-ordered at a good discount off of the SRP). Here's the breaks...

That Gumper was the one that I alluded to on your thread a few days ago...after seeing that thing in-person, I can see why the Premium Patches sets are such a popular build...man, it's tempting!!
