So I have decided to collect Stefan Meyer and with the cup there has been no shortage of his cards

First a few little pickups,

Pre NHL cards

And a couple of little rc's

Now onto the Cup just a few rcs (6 more incomming)

Now for the triple threat

/249 /64 and /25

I had to get the above 3 but I ended up with duplicate bids on a few items on the bay so won 2 platinum rcs. Then I got a great deal on a goldfrom DJZorba and ended up with this set of 3 aswell

Im still looking for more Meyer cup rcs plus any other Meyer cards so let me know if you have any

Would love Meyer to be called up an become a top NHL center and his RCs rocket to Crosby like levels, however im a realist and I doubt that Meyer will see more than 20 games in the NHL the rest of his career from what I have seen so far. Hope im wrong but im sure im right

this was just crazy I had a high bid of $147 and ran when it got beyond that. These are the best I have seen so far

My main mission is to get 25 RC's one from each ten of the print run I have 15 so far with ten more to find. Think I will try for 50 in total but its been a little dry of late

Honestly? I think we are talking career minor league. I jus wanted in on the cup action for a small $$$ investment. Keeps the bubble mailers coming thru the door and stops me hurting from lack of wax

Oh and depending where he is actually from he may be a Saskatchewan boy (Im having problems getting info on this, his cards pre NHL state Fox Hills SK,his UD cards say medicine hat AB and NHL.com has him as Medicine hat SK?????)
and as Sask is my adoptedhome in Canada gotta go for the local boy

I agree Meyer will not make it into many NHL, though he is one of the top C/LW on the american but looking at last year thats not that great at all, Hes a good player and fighter in the ahl and thats where he will most likely retire, just like the guy i collect

BTW- SWEET cards, love to see a local player collection
