As long as both traders are happy go for it. I've done trades like that before but it also depends on how much I want or need the cards coming my way.

That right there is sufficient. New trader on here just told me I was wasting people’s time because that is the way I felt about the deal. My cards, my choice.

I never understood this. If you don't think the trade is fair, then don't do the trade. Way easier than telling someone that they're wasting people's time.

If you initiate the trade then the onus is on you to go the extra mile to complete a deal. The other person may well just be doing the deal to help you out.

If I am getting cards that are on my actual want list then I am always willing to trade in the other members favour. What grinds my gears is when someone wants my cards has nothing from my want list and bickers when I ask for a reasonable return of some trade bait.

IF it means completing a set or a PC item, I would normally give extra for my wants BUT if it drags out with a request "Can you add one more card?" , then thank you!
I'd rather send a few low end freebies to desirable member to help out.

However, to answer your original question, were two parties swapping trade bait (take the emotional or PC angle out of the picture), yes, I'd say it's reasonable for the person getting the lower-end haul of 11 cards to get more value in return than the person getting the two higher-end cards. Just my two cents, but I think everyone would rather have two cards combining to value at $100 than 11 cards that combine to value $100, hence adding in a little extra value on the lower-end "trading down" cards.

I'll echo the common sentiment so far. It depends on who is getting what. If I am trading someone a PC item and simply taking back traders that I don't have a specific need for then I expect to get a premium. If I am getting a PC item I will trade equal or in the other person's favour depending on the card.

A little context. I was getting cards on a wantlist but they are not super hard to find and the cards are all low end, not like 10 - $10 cards for 1 - $100. I simply didn't want to give up 2 traders to get 11 little cards back.
Bottom line for me is a similar sentiment to what has been said by a couple people, if both people are happy make the deal. I didn't like it.... no need to respond telling me I'm wasting people's time.
