So, I don't usually post too much in the Show & Tell anymore as I've reverted back into being primarily a base set collector. This is also the first year in the last few where I decided to go after a full case of OPC instead of random individual boxes...

All I can say is Wowwee-Wow-Wow!!!

This was one of the most fun cases I've ever opened and ever box seemed to have something new, different, and exciting.

All said,

1 complete base set 1-600 (PC)
2 complete base set 1-500
A few cards shy of another 1-600 base set (missing 10 SPs and ~50 low numbers).

288 Retro (only a few dupes)
52 Black Retro (one hot box)
7 Retro Blank Backs (Schultz, Svechnikov, Provorov, Janmark, Yamamoto, Gitgensons, Korshkov RC)
96 Blue Border
15 Red Border
2 Red Border 1/1s!!! (Hertl & Shesterkin)
72 OPC Premier Tall Boys
1 OPC Premier Tall Boy Red Border (Draisaitl)
60 Playing Cards (2 Aces and 1 Joker)
3 Platinum Previews (Giroux, Price, Larkin)
2 Rainbow Platinum Previews (Giroux, P. Kane)
1 Violet Pixels Platinum Preview (Larkin)
3 Base Variation (McDavid AS, Tkachuk AS, Tavares B&W)
4 Trophy Patches (Toews Conn Smythe, Orr Calder, Crosby Hart, Sakic Hart)
1 Glossy Rookies Set Redemption
4 Rookie Bounty Redemptions (1, 3, 5, 6)
1 3-D Rookie Redemption (#5)

I'm still working on scans (will add as I get some) and will log everything into my Beckett database (link in sig) over the next couple of days. All my extra base and SPs are available as well as most of the inserts.

Right now, I'm going to go for the full set of playing cards (need 2 Aces and 1 Joker) and may try to work on the Retro set throughout this season. The retro front doesn't strike me as much of the backs which really remind me of the mid-80s sets when I was first collecting and opening packs.

I really can't say enough nice stuff about this year's OPC. Glad I decided to pull the trigger, for sure!

Thanks for taking a look!

Did you see any yr one variations?
(I know, now you have to thumb through them again, sigh...but when watching the conference finals, what better way to spend your time?)
