My COMC Selling experience

I submitted over 200 cards this morning. Some traders, some lower-tier PC cards that were collecting dust. It was a lot of fun going throught boxes that I don't look often, I found some nice surprises in them that I forgot about, and that I'm not selling at the moment, like a Crosby Beehive yellow rookie, a Mario Lemieux ITG Ultimate Complete Jersey and a nice Lehkonen 3 colors The Cup RPA. I think it's the right move for me at this moment to downsize and focus on the cards I truly enjoy.

Thank you for sharing about your COMC experiences!

I have a question about COMC. For those inside Canada, is there a way to avoid custom fees when you are getting what you bought on COMC delivered to you?

COMC ships from Richmond, BC for Canadians so no customs fees :dance::dance:

You have to pay GST on the cards you buy and have shipped to you. It shows up as a 'Duties' charge on your shipping invoice, but I'm fairly certain it's the GST portion of sales tax (5%) on the cards, any supplies and the handling. No way to get around that, unless it's on cards that you didn't buy (ie your own cards sent in that you decided to take back).

I've never had a customs charge which would imply a fee from a broker to clear customs, unless you want to count the Shipping fee. Again, no way around that.
