My daughter's collection - update

Hi guys

Following on from last week's post, my daughter's collection of Boris Valabik has increased again - two more in hand this week, meaning that we have 12 out of the 13 I know about.

07/08 Chicago Wolves Team Issue

06/07 Chicago Wolves Team Issue

Both cards came from sellers on Hockeydb, the 06/07 is interesting because it's exactly the same photo used on the AHL Top Prospects card !!

As usual, the 07/08 doesn't appear on the Beckett checklist - there are 6 cards already in my collection that don't appear ...... what is going on ?

As previous - if any Valabik cards emerge from next year's issues ( ie his RC's ) please bear us in mind. Our collecting budget isn't great, but out focus and determination are second to none.

I've been told by a contact on Hockeydb that in 03/04 Kitchener Rangers put out a signature set - the same contact has a copy, but doesn't want to break up the album ........ so he wants $60 for it !!

I don't have $60 to spend on any card, but I don't know who else is in it.

I know Mike Richards was with Kitchener in 03/04 so I might have some luck moving that - but not sure I could recoup enough of the $60 to make it a viable purchase.

But if you ever see or hear of the single Valabik from the set, let me know

Thanks for looking out for me - I think we both got a little mixed up.

The one I still need is 05/06 Kitchener Rangers Signature Album Set Card out of 225 ( I stupidly typed 03/04 ! )

The one you found on Beckett Marketplace I believe is the 2005 Top Prospects Signature -S29. I already have this one, used Best Offer on Ebay to get it for $10.
