I don’t believe so.

There are a number of Jersey/autos listed on the checklist that have never been seen. Sakic, Pronger, Kariya, Selanne are some of the others I believe. But I don’t believe any of this guys were signing UD cards at the time (no other sets had their autos, but I could be wrong).

It’s an interesting quirk of the set!

This was (and still is) one of my favorite designs of all time. Wish I had known someone was doing the set. I had the Gretzky auto patch /99 and sold it in February. If you want I can try to dig up the username and try to get you in touch.

If you don’t mind, sure! They actually come up quite often.

That’s a very interesting card, because it’s actually quite easy to find relative to many others in the set. I’m not sure UD totally thought it through when in S1 they decided to do an Exclusives Patch Auto numbered to the players jersey number. It basically turned the most demanded player (Gretzky #99) into the one with the highest print run. Only ever other card I’ve seen from that set was a John LeClair numbered to 10 on eBay years and years ago.
