I hit the Expo on Saturday with my brother-in-law goalieguy01.
Paid our money, went right to InTheGameland (which I suggested to Dr. Price he rename Emerald City after the 1/1 debacle; I don't think he thought it was as funny as I did).
Spun the wheel and hit the Heroes and Prospects box; all base.
Cracked two packs of Enshrined. I said all I cared about was getting an auto ( my bro took the other three packs from the box).
I didn't get an auto, but I nailed two sweet GU pieces. Ended up trading the bro for an auto and all his base. Here is the combined results of the redemption and trade:
That Goulet is very cool.
Picked up a few boxes to open at home with the wife and in-laws. Many cards were traded back and forth, and at the end of the day, I was left with the following:
This year, I dialed back my spending on wax and focused on some of my want lists, I picked up a few cards for my Ruby Gemography set from 05-06 ( if you have any please let me know!!), as well as the cards scanned here; My Prestigious Pairings and Dual Sign of the Times sets got a nice little jolt!!:
A Brodeur Dual Auto for $40 bucks; don't mind if I do!!!!
The Stick Rack and the Hextall Flashback Fabrics were obtained in a very easy deal with a great new HI member greys1998; check out his stuff!!
Finished this little mini set as well; On to the Stars of the Game set!!
Saw a lot of board members, and got to chat it up; class acts all over these boards.....
