Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season!

Sharing a few recent pick-ups:


#3: 15-16 The Cup Connor McDavid NHL Glory AU #/10
- these cards have some great weight to them; scans do no justice



#2: 15-16 UD Ice Connor McDavid Ice Premiers Auto Patch #/10 (BGS 9.5)
- my favorite auto patch designed card for 15-16



#1: 15-16 UD Exquisite Connor McDavid AU RC Patch 3clr #/97
- my first McDavid card



Was part of a large break of 15-16 Cup over the holidays. Was always looking for a low #'d Bure auto patch card! Nice to see this pulled live too.

- 15-16 UD Exquisite Pavel Bure Endorsement Relics 4clr jsy #'d 10/10



Was disappointed that seller and I were unable to work out logistics for a 15-16 The Cup McDavid 3clr AU RC #/99. However, I did get to hold a card I missed out on earlier this year:

- 15-16 UD Ultimate Connor McDavid AU RC Shield #1/1



Can't believe it's been 10 years since I was reminded of holding the 05-06 UD Ultimate Sidney Crosby AU RC Shield #1/1:

Read it again. He missed out on it and doesn't own it, he just got to hold it. I am pretty sure Mark bought the McDavid Shield. (sorry to rub salt in that wound Stephen...LOL)

Neither are my cards. Missed out on both of them. Price of not being active enough in the hobby. Knowing the McDavid transaction details, it sounded like a nightmare to complete. At least glad Mark secured the McDavid RC Shield.

My turn to rubbing salt in a wound - you also know who has The Cup Titlists Alex Tanguay #1/1 :devil:

Yes, I know he has it. I sent him a message a few years back via his website, but never heard from him. That is unequivocally my greatest want. It is the only true, non parallel, 1/1 Tanguay that I don't have in my collection, and also the last card I need to finish my master set of Tanguay cards from 05-06 The Cup.

But thanks for reminding me....LOL
 
Nice cards Stephen! Glad to see you're still enjoying the hobby when you find time for it. Those shield pics will bring back some great memories as time goes on.

You know, for the cost of a few tins of The Cup, there's doctors who can alleviate that. :D

Hey Jeremy! Hairline receeded with work, poor diet and lack of exercise. I'll be bald in a couple of years with a couple of toddlers now. :|

Glad you had a chance to catch up with MB IRL too.

Hope to see you sooner than later at a nearby show!

Unfotunately no. I was looking for a Bure AU Patch low numbered card. This one has sentimental value for me.

Sweet McDavids and congrats on the Bure. Hopefully you could make it to the Summit Show April 22+23 in Edmonton(Sherwood Park).
 
Stephen my friend, very nice show! love the ice patch auto, they really did a great job with that design this year.
also must be pretty awesome to have held Marks McD 1/1 but even better pulling that Crosby!
