Well last night I actually talked my wife into coming to the game with me. She's not a big hockey fan and doesn't really get into the game like I wish she would. Anyways having her with me was a great time and with her okay I was able to get her permission to add this to my collection!!!!!

Unfortunatly since there are very few Preseason pics available it will be tough for me to photo-match. Also I believe the Preseason jerseys are worn for more then one year. One thing is for sure as it was definatly worn in 01-02 as that's the year he lost his A and on the jersey and you can clearly se where it was removed from the jersey. It shows tons of use including 3 or 4 repair stitches, lots of stick and puck marks as well as a little board burn!! I was suprised however at the price as several other big name players jersey's like Cujo, Robitaille, and Hasek were much cheaper. Any way you shape it though I am EXTREMELY happy with it as this one was much nicer then the other Fedorov jersey they had. Oh it also comes with a COA from Hockeytown Authentics the licenced distributer of Red Wings Game Used equipment.

Hey Steve... yea, my wife was similar... she's a total girly-girl... would hate watching the games on TV, but got her to Vancouver for a couple Canucks games in my lawyer's private box... she LOVES them now! Even went out and bought herself this cute little tight shirt (woohoo! ). Gotta love a girl that loves hockey...

Steve, sweet grab man!! I picked up my first GU jersey from that very store last year. It was just a Boyd Devereaux, but it was a Playoff Gamer with some repairs and puck marks on it and the price was right so I picked it up. When I go back there in two weeks I may be looking for another one to add to my collection...

Thanks for all the comments guys. I am extremely happy with it. If I'm not mistaken the Cujo was $400 and the Hasek $500. I do believe that the Hasek was a Practice jersey though and not a Preseason. I'm going to the game tonight and will double check for you.

Steve, congrats on your acquisition. I'll say it until I am blue in the face but again, when you are a player collector and acquire a gamer for the PC, it truly is the pinnacle or centerpiece IMO. I mean really, how can you top it?

BTW, you have a very unique sweater there as well. If notice the name on the back is on a nameplate. The Red Wings have NEVER used a nameplate, nor that style of lettering except for one preaseason (03/04) I believe.

Sweet jersey!!! Unbeleivably nice!! It's always nice when the wife comes and shows some interest in the game, and the collecting. My wife always likes to see what I receive in the mail for the PC.
