Well up to now I have had very good luck with Upper Deck redemptions, they have always come through for me. Until now....I had three outstanding 06/07 Parkhurst Autographs from when I was working on the set. I had emailed asking for replacements on two of them. Craig MacTavish and Pat Lafontaine. Total BV of say 35, sell value, depending on the day would be about right. I didn't ask for the Peter McNab, but looks as though it won't be produced, they sent me that one as well.
I did the whole swap out procedure, asked for Montreal Canadiens if they had to go the team route. But I was really hoping for something from one of my player collections. I don't think that asking for Clarke MacArthur, David Clarkson or Scott Stevens was too much of a stretch, not asking for Gretzky, Crosby and Ovechkin or anything like that.
Well this is what they send me......

I know bv I came out a head, so that is great. And for the whole process, I wish they would have just said, "OK great, sorry we couldn't come up with your cards, we will send you a replacement for them." Not the whole, "look at how great our customer service is, we will ask you what you would like in the range you have, and try and send something that fits that".
Listen, I know you have to have some kind of Habs card there, there are tonnes of Mike Ribeiro or Michael Ryder cards there that no one probably wants......
Ah well, the Turco will make a nice item for trade bait or to sell, and I am super happy about that, I was fearing much worse. I could have ended up getting a royal kick to the shnide.
My BONUS pack of OPC from this year yeilded a Donald Brashear Retro and a Gold Marty Turco card.
